Mythology

He initiated nature on the planet, the self balancing ebb and flow of life and death, growth and decay, creation and destruction.

When the gods first appeared, the planet was barren, with nothing but rock and ice.

With a word from Adanai the ice melted, and the oceans were created.

With a second word the ground sprouted with floral life.

With a third word fauna walked the ground, swam in the sea, flew in the air, and burrowed in the dirt.

These three words were the words of creation, but in their echoes the words of destruction rang out to unravel in kind. Death, disease, and decay were given, a gift not appreciated by those affected by them, but without which the circle of life would be impossible.

Adanai is a god of life and growth, but also death and renewal. This manifests as the dichotomy of the positive- and negative energy plane, like some great inhaling and exhaling organism.
