Mythology

After Adanai had said his words of creation, Yarec sang the first elves into existence. Giving them the gift of magic and a purpose. To keep the world in working order, and to make it ready for the arrival of humanity.

These first elves facilitated the ascention of the first The Lords and Ladies, and gave rise to the Fey, with all their myriad forms. This was not entirely intentional, but came about because of the residual energies from both Adanai and Yarec, channeled through the mind and soul of the elves.

Yarec is venerated and loathed in equal measure by both the elves and the Fey. They would not exist without his hand, but their existence came with a price of having their purpose determined for them.
