Born in Dunsmouth, Wahlminster. Lived with his family (mother, father, and sister) there until recently, before he wanted to try his luck in Blackport, seeking fortune as a dockworker, hoping to move to a more profitable and less taxing job once it presents itself.

Unlike her sister, Henry did not pursue his magical talents in an early age, and the embers of his magical talent were in danger of being extinguished as it is with so many others. This changed after meeting an elderly man while working the docks in Blackport. He recognized the traits of a man from Wahlmisnter, and inquired if he or anyone he knew were magicians. This led Henry down a path where he was taught about his gift, and how to properly cultivate it through meditation and other mental practices.
