Abducted by Jasper Blackrake and his goons to be used as a reagent in Jaspers arcane experiments.
Changes after her obduction
She represses her mistreatment by her would-be killers, never wanting to dwell on the pain and mental anguish they caused her nor showing any sign of it having affected her. When she is alone, and without cause to keep her mask, she is haunted by the week she was held captive. She resorts to tonics and potions to sleep soundly.
What servants that manage to keep up with Belle Draper's ministrations, gossip about Ellen's poor mind. This garners her some sympathies, but also further alienates her as her peers are afraid of broaching the subject.
Personality
She is as a proper lady. Despite her recent ordeal, she keeps a stoic mask when out about in public.
