About
Where many in Blackport's high society leave the majority of the household be handled by a number of maids and servants, Belle has a tendency to meddle with the daily chores of her staff. This has in turn caused a higher than usual exchange of the servants who can't handle the meddling, and put the Draper house in an unfavorable light among the service class of Blackport.
On a personal level Belle is an amiable woman. She cares for and loves her family - her two children and husband.
She has never been a talented seamstress, or been able to embroider much beyond the basic, a fact that causes her a bit of grief. With a husband in the textile and garment industry, her lack of a proper education or finishing school is a sore point of shame she will not pass on to her children.
Her origin is that of a less than wealthy steel worker family. She had several siblings growing up - most of which still live in or around Blackport. She met Oscar when his plans for his company were new, and supported him as it grew into what it is now.
