About
Where many in Blackport's high society leave the majority of the household be handled by a number of maids and servants, Belle has a tendency to meddle with the daily chores of her staff. This has in turn caused a higher than usual exchange of the servants who can't handle the meddling, and put the Draper house in an unfavorable light among the service class of Blackport.
On a personal level Belle is an amiable woman. She cares for and loves her family - her two children and husband.
She has never been a talented seamstres, or been able to embroider much beyond the basic, a fact that causes her a bit of grief. With a husband in the textile and garment industry, her lack of a proper education or finishing school is a sore point of shame.
Her origin is that of a less than wealthy steel worker family. She had several siblings growing up - most of which still live in or around Blackport. She met Oscar when his plans for his company were new, and supported him as it grew.
