History

Konor is the bastard child of Jean Blackfinger and a prostitute from Waycot. She died shortly after giving birth to Konor, and he was sent to an orphanage for his formative years.

The nature of Konors mother did not make who his father was obvious, and for years he wondered who his father could be. Only at the age of 12, when a traveling circus visited Waycot, would he get an answer.

Despite the ridicule of his peers, he visited a clairvoyant sideshow in a hope that she could find his father. Her fee was close to all of Konors savings, and lucky for him, the seer was more than a mere charlatan, and an actual spell was cast to find his lost father. He left the orphanage shortly thereafter, setting out to find Jean.

Konor had to search for close to two years, traveling around Fellfen and visiting the Mistwreath twice, before finally finding his quarry.

At first Jean assumed this was some setup or trap, but after being shown the trinket left to Konor by his mother, he remembered his moment with her all those years ago in Waycot.

Feeling some responsibility, and being impressed by the determination of his newfound son, Jean agrees to take on his new role as a father and mentor for his child, giving him a place to live, someone to depend upon, and to talk to about his place in this world.
