Description

A collection of several mountaintops who are reliably above the mistline. They holds aloft the different buildings of the stellar observatory, an impressive complex of telescopes, platforms and orreries.

Ivonvar Town

A relatively small town supplying the observatory with its basic needs. Some farming, hunting and fishing, and a fair deal of trade with Wywold and Lemlamar.

The Stargazers

The Stargazer prestige class has it's origin here. Most of them have a background as clerics, but some more exotic backgrounds may also be found among their ranks.

The exact reason for why they are training magicians to fight against demonic forces is a mystery only the initiated know, and uninitiated probably do not want to know.

Alchemy

While the Astronomers occupy their attention outwards, there are others in Ivonvar who direct their attention inwards as well. By focusing their study on substances that produce altered states of consciousness.
