History
Like most Remnants, little is known of Gedrim's early life. But what is known about him, and which is his main claim to fame, is his involvement in the Extraplanar Renaissance of Orn, which led to the planesmiths and The Ordering.
Attainments
Gedrim's most notable attainment was Gedrim's Reflections – a way to create limited mirror dimensions accessible through reflections.
Building upon his obsession with mirrors, he also aided the Ornian military in the development of the Shattered Mirror fighting style.
Gedrim's Reflections
By indulging in some arcane research to pass the time, Gedrim managed to enter his study mirror. He was trapped in this mirror for five bells before an escape was achieved. With further experimentation he refined his initial steps, and documented his process allowing both entry and exiting this space.
In the year 804 a.l. he distributed his findings among his inner circle of friends, and by using a newly installed mirror that covered the entirity of the wall of his lounge, he demonstrated his ability to double the size of a room. It made a mirror copy of all the room's furnishings along with it, but not its occupants – an effect that initially just gave the impression that all the occupants of the room had been rendered invisible.
Gedrim's Reflections sparked an interest in spatial manipulation that was picked up by several of his peers. Most known due to her overwhelming success was Lorc Inirasi, which in many ways surpassed Gedrim in fame. Leaving his innovations as something more akin to a parlor trick in many eyes.
