Summoning Rules[T]
The following describes the requirements and rituals for binding Mirdeg.
Spirit Level: 8th
Constellation: Dragon
Alignment: N
Binding DC: 29
Totems: You gain a totem bonus on the spirit’s binding check if you meet some or all of these conditions. (+2 insight bonus for at least one, +4 for all)
- You utilize two ornate full height mirrors, costing at least 50 gp in total.
- You possess 14 ranks in knowlege planes.
- You speak to your reflection in Old Ornian.
Ceremony: You orient yourself between two mirrors in a way that lets you see one reflection in the other mirror, regularly switching back and forth between the two.
Manifestation: At some point, the reflections that should move does not, and you meet your own gaze from an angle you did not expect. You hear your own voice in your head asking, and can start bargaining.
Granted Abilities
Mirdeg grants the following abilities.
Major Granted Abilities
Beating the DC by 10 or more grants access to the Capstone Empowerment
Split the Twins: You split yourself in two as a standard action. Your copy is a mirror image of you in appearance and is garbed in masterwork, non-magical versions of your weapons, armor, and clothing that vanish if they leave the copy’s hand for more than 1 round. You and your copy share your hit points, ability scores, prepared spells, spell slots, granted abilities, ki and grit points and all other similar types of resources, such that one character expending such a resource expends it for both characters. Creatures granted by class features and similar abilities are not duplicated. You can only have one copy at a time and it vanishes after 4 rounds. Your copy will never attempt to harm you and it always shares your goals.
Capstone Empowerment: Your copy’s weapons and armor are magical, copying your own bonuses and abilities. They are quasireal and worthless.
Minor Granted Abilities
Unnerving Display: This ability functions as the Dazzling Display feat, except you can use it as a standard action. You can replace an attack with this ability, taking a penalty on the Intimidate check equal to the iterative attack’s penalty on attack rolls. For example, substituting your second attack imposes a -5 penalty on the check, a -10 on the third, and so forth.
Uncanny: You gain a bonus on Intimidate checks equal to ½ your binder level.
Perspective Trick: As a full-round action, you can increase your size by one category (Small to Medium, Medium to Large, or so forth). You can use this ability for a total number of minutes per day equal to your binder level. These minutes do not need to be used consecutively, but they must be used in 1-minute increments. Multiple uses of this ability do not stack, nor does it stack with other effects that increase size. Returning to your original size is a move action.
Wound reflection: This ability functions as the spell Unwilling Shield. A creature that succeeds on its saving throw against this ability is immune to this ability for 24 hours.
Signs and Influence
The spirit affects you in the following ways:
Physical Sign: Your reflection behaves like someone skillfully mimicing you, but at times lagging slightly, or even acting before you.
Personality: You become indecisive, spending more than the usual amount of consideration when picking between two or more alternatives.
Favored Ally: Humanoid (any)
Favored Enemy: Outsider (any)
Vestigial Bond (Companion)
You gain the service of a protean voidworm familiar for the duration of the pact.
This ability replaces perspective trick.
