Owned and run by Vernon Ridgerton and his nephew (son of his brother) Albert which is his apprentice. Favored by specialists who have legitimate needs for customized ink mixes, as well as rich people with more money than sense looking for a special gift or souvenir. To Vernon's consternation, the latter category of clientele is his primary source of income.
His situation is a precarious one. The profitability of his commercial inks are dependent on the fact that he also sells actual magically attuned inks, but these do not move in quantities that can keep him in business. In other words. He must endure the drudgery of mundane commerce to pursue his calling.
Since his nephew Albert started working for him, he has increasingly foisted the service work on the younger man, which has improved his mood to a degree.

For most customers his mundane selection is both more visually appealing and less costly to purchase, and his "Premium" series is therefore not the actually magical inks and reagents. The bespoke products are purchased by appointment in the back room after a round of vetting to avoid posers.
