Description
A small hamlet tied to an old bridge that is no longer favored by travelers as a new replacement has taken over. The landscape around Banebridge is mostly farmland, dotted with the occasional farmhouse. The center of the hamlet is the market square. It was at one time a more lively place, but as traffic dwindled, it is only used for the occasional village meet, weekly market, and sporadic holibell celebrations. Adjoining the market square is the Mistfaith chapel that takes attendance about as frequent as the square outside.
The hamlet is not entirely idyllic, despite what it may look on the surface. This is not due to some moral failing of the inhabitants or some such sinister evil. It merely has a certain quality due to its location and history that lends it a certain mood.
