History

• Established some time after the Ornian independence, but before the war with K'Shaal and the Ordering
• Mixed results by the time of the Destruction of Orn, with only some having attained the pseudo-divine "vestige-level".

The big secret

• The fundamental approach the Wellspring Foundation had to attain divinity was flawed, and would never produce anything other than vestiges
• Most of the occult rituals they enacted were totally useless, and only patrons who were by themselves ready to attain the vestige status would actually get any use out of their services. Meaning that the resorts were more a place to socialize with like-minded aspirants of godhood, a service that is not without its merits.
