History
Contains large portions of what was the K'Shaali Empire, when it was still an organized and strong power. When the empire struck out at Orn in the year 896 a.l. (63 p.o.), they unleashed the chaos that is the Flux Fields. It was the main contributing factor that started the spiraling.
Millions were displaced, seeking to escape the wild magic twisting the everyday cantrips into uncontrollable chaos, making daily life possible into potentially lethal risks.
Exoduses went in many directions, but with mountains in most directions, a large portion of the refugees died during their journeys, from either exposure or hunger.
Those who did escape the Flux found there to be little room for them in the then outlying regions. And like a raiding swarm they swept across the land towards the two untouched metropols, today known as The Throne and Zu'um, located on either side of the central flux fields. The increased numbers were a challenge, but over time the situation settled down.
Points of interest
- Ruins of Ioun - what remains of a once great city. As with most other things in the Flux Field it has been ravaged by storms and wild magic.
