Primarily found in the Mistwreath, as that is where it originated. The Mistfaith church pursue binders due to it being seen as heretical, and an art that damnes the practitioner.
Those pact magicians who remain in the Mistwreath are highly secretive due to being prosecuted. They organize themselves loosely, knowing one or two other practitioners, and avoiding any central organization.
In later years a few pact-binders have emigrated to Orn's other regions, and though they have fewer resources to draw on, they experience much less persecution and may pursue their studies without the same stigma.
