Description
Small village high up the mountainside of the mountain of the same name.
History
The first chapel was built on the spot that is thought to be where Vergil experienced the miraculous visions.
Administration
Mostly led by the religious leaders in the local church. In practice most inhabitants are self-governed, following the law of the land.
Demography
Religious functionaries and clergy, but mostly commoners carving out a niche servicing pilgrims.
Culture
Notes
The main altar in the chapel stands before a window that looks out across the mist. It is the hope of every visitor to look out through it and see a lifting of the mist akin to that which Vergil experienced, but none ever have.
