As with many of Mistwreath's cities, Cerelum has it's own claim to alchemical fame. In this case it is an academic tradition for educating alchemists doubling as doctors and healers.

An offshoot of this research into treating others with generalized alchemical solutions have also produced stimulants that exceed the usual potency. The downside being the loss of effect shortly after mixing is done.
